Latest Catch Reports….14th to 17th May 2011

The lull in the action has largely continued with the cats still showing little interest in feeding. The fish being caught are heavily marked from spawning but we still await the feeding frenzy which normally follows the breeding season.

Some action on the last day of the trip for the Air Traffic Controllers salvaged a result from an otherwise disappointing few days, with Richard Webb bagging a maiden ton up of 124lb in deep water downstream of Amposta and Paul Speller latching into a 102 on a shallow plateau close to the islands of Deltebre.

Some desperate tactics have been employed by the boys, with James ‘the dog man’ Doggett even loose feeding sweetcorn into the swim!
