The early summer fishing continues to be excellent, with a great 4 day session enjoyed by Richard Webb, Paul Speller and James Doggett.

The trip got off to an excellent start with Rich getting into a 121lber on the first day of the holiday when his mullet was snaffled in deep water on the ‘Wires’ section above Amposta.

There have been plenty of mid sized fish in the 40 – 80 lb range to keep the interest up.

The highlight of the trip arrived on day 3 when Richard latched into a lunker in the deep water and held his nerve to bag a new Personal best of 151lb.

With time running out to save a blank on the final day, the ‘hapless’ ┬áJames ‘dogman’ Doggett finally took his rod out of the holder and got to work – although still failed to see his bite as a 143lber saved his trip!
