Travel Arrangements We hope that you will enjoy your fishing holiday and guided cat fishing tour on the river Ebro, Spain. Here are some tips to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly and get your fishing holiday off to the best possible start. By far the most popular method of travel is by budget airline to one of three destinations, Reus, Barcelona or Valencia. The budget airlines have revolutionised travelling to Spain, and it has never been easier or cheaper to get here. Where ever you are based in the UK, your local airport can give you easy access to one of these 3 destinations. Reus Reus is the nearest, and subsequently easiest option available to you. The small airport is situated only 45 minutes drive from your accommodation. www.ryanair.co.uk Ryan air provide excellent daily services at very low cost. You can fly to Reus with Ryan air from the following UK destinations; Stansted, Luton, Liverpool, Glasgow and Dublin. www.flythomascook.com Thomas Cook also operate from Reus, although the flights are not as regular. UK destinations are Birmingham, Gatwick, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow. Barcelona Barcelona is another excellent option, although the transfer to your accommodation is longer, approximately 90 minutes. www.easyjet.com Cheap daily flights into Barcelona from Bristol, Liverpool, Luton, Stansted and Newcastle. www.jet2.com Jet2 provide a cheap daily service from Leeds / Bradford airport, a good option for Yorkshire based anglers. www.thomsonflights.com Thomson flights provide a service to Coventry, ideal if you are based in the Midlands. Valencia Valencia airport is situated approximately 90 minutes to the south of your accommodation. Car Hire We recommend strongly that you hire a small car for your holiday, as this provides you with the freedom and flexibility to explore the local area after your fishing.
